Medical Education and Training Unit

The Medical Education and Training Unit (METU) provides post graduate education for RMOs at CDHB.

METU is committed to excellence in clinical training, ensuring a highly valued educational environment for both newly graduated doctors and those undertaking vocational training at CDHB.

This is achieved through:

• comprehensive orientation of RMOs to CDHB
• formal teaching programmes including practical skills throughout the year
• goal-directed learning objectives and assessment
• mentoring programme

METU is based at Christchurch Hospital on the Lower Ground Floor.
