Medical Registration

ferns.jpg

It is illegal to practise medicine in New Zealand unless you are registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand and hold a current practising certificate.

You are responsible for making sure that your registration and practising certificate remain current. The cost of your practising certificate is reimbursed to you. See Reimbursements.

You must keep the Medical Council informed of any change of address, or risk being removed from the register.

Information on Medical Registration is available on the Council’s website at www.mcnz.org.nz.
